Hey beautiful people. In this episode, we're diving deep into a conversation that’s both trending and truth-heavy: the “Trad Wife” movement.
You’ve seen the vintage aprons and perfectly plated dinners, the soft submission, and Bible verses on your feed. It’s beautiful in theory — but beneath the aesthetic, there are layers we need to lovingly unravel.
We're asking the real questions:
What does submission really mean in faith, and why do we skip certain scriptures?
Why does this trend romanticize a past that wasn’t safe for every woman — especially women of color?
How does social media distort the truth, and what happens when the fairytale ends?
What do you do when your husband leaves, cheats, or passes away — and you’ve built your world around him?
And I’m sharing my own truth, too. Because yes, I’m a modern-day Trad Wife. I stay home. I nurture. I honor my family — and I’ve built a business from this very place because my husband holds space for me, too.
We’ll also talk about how women can protect themselves emotionally, financially, and spiritually — without giving up the beauty of love and tradition.
This one is layered. It’s loving. It’s deep. It’s necessary.
Because the most “traditional” thing a woman can do? Is survive, thrive, and still know who she is — even when the apron comes off.
